Anonymous asked: what are some things you think about when you make mixes? is there some sort of recipe for them? e.g. "the first song must be under 4 minutes", "the same artist may not appear more than two times", (etc.) ???
Hmm, there isn’t really, I don’t think. The mixes don’t usually have themes like a genre or subject matter or trying to show people “obscure” bands. It’s basically just songs we like from bands we like, one song for each artist, and not really caring if the songs go well together or not. Hopefully people will discover a band they like, if they hadn’t heard them. That’s pretty much it.
